Both of my goals are complete (well, the ones I set for myself while unemployed)...Photographs are organized (just have to put in albums) and the closet is clean and organized (still have some paperwork to organize and laundry to do though!)!! It feels really good! I had some help yesterday and thank goodness for that! Alex really helped with the shoes! I didn't realize just how close to being a hoarder (of shoes) I was!! So, thanks Ms. Rollo!!
After almost 8 hours of cleaning and organizing I went to dinner with Alex, Erkut and Karla. A little mini-celebration of my accomplishment. Karla said something to me that I never really thought about. She said that this "cleanse" would make room for the next step in my life (or something to that effect!). Could it be true? Could today be the day I hear about the job? I was so entrenched in my work yesterday I didn't think about it until we sat down to eat. And that was the goal I guess. To keep myself busy and stop worrying about the the job and money, but it was also to get organized just in case the inevitable happens...giving up my apartment:(
Today though, my focus is Juan! He has a stomach bug and I am going to watching him for the next couple of days. Right now he is curled up on my sleeper sofa (he loves that it's also a bed!) with his Cars sleeping bag watching Shrek while I sit at my dining room table listening to him giggle. (He has the best laugh!).
I don't know if I will hear about the job today, or tomorrow, or maybe never, but so long as I keep myself busy and keep trying to find work...I know that it will all work out in the end....just like it does for Shrek!!
